With the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009, many brands are starting to preview what they have in store for this coming Spring. Here are pictures of an outfit put together from some of Orisue’s Spring 2009 pieces, which were first on display at the last Magic trade show. We’re digging the “Jasper” raw denim jeans (featured up top) and “Seymore” henley style wool pull-over (after the jump). It’s early, but Orisue is starting 2009 off right.

Supra is putting out Erik Ellington’s new pro model skate shoes, “The Vega,” later this month. The sneakers will feature a Vulcanized gum rubber outside, impact resistant SupraFoam midsoles and a blue suede upper. Not only do these kicks look clean, but The Vega was also made to produce the optimal amount of shoe flex and board feel…. you know, since these are skate shoes and all. Look for these to hit Supra stockists in mid January. A white / black and an all black suede version of The Vega will also be made available.

Here is an extended look at the IM KING’s Holiday ‘08 collection, which should either be out or should be hitting IM KING stockists this / next week. We’ve previewed a few of this season’s items before (Gold Rush Hoodie, Greaser Jacket) and are quite impressed with the cut-n-sew pieces from this season. There is also an IM KING X TITS (Two In The Shirt) collaborative tee and,  best of all, a decent amount of women’s fit available this season. Just in time for the Lunar New Year, select Puma accounts will soon be stocked with a two pack of updated and refined Puma Clyde Low sneakers. These sure do look a bit more classy than your typical pair of Clydes. Both versions of the shoe are made from the same materials and feature the same gold trim. Flat and tumbled leather are featured on the sneakers’ uppers, while nubuck surrounds its heel. The only difference between the two shoes are their colors (one is white, the other is black). According to Kenlu, the retail price will be around $150 a pair.

Benny Gold has posted some teaser pics of a few products slated for release during 2009. There is obviously a New Era fitted cap, a back pack and a fixie featured in the pictures up top. We are having a bit of trouble determining what the middle left image is, but everything seems intriguing. Hopefully that picture of the bike is meant to do more than preview a line of super tiny BG decals.

Not too much to share here, but Black Scale recently threw up a couple teaser pics of its fitted caps for Spring 2009. Obviously there will be at least one cap available in at least two colorways, black and red judging by these pictures. Black Scale has always been one of our favorite brands here at Floust and next season will be the first that Black Scale is considering itself an actual full time business, rather than just a really nice side project. Knowing how much we liked the label before, we sure as hell can’t wait to see what else Spring brings us from Black Scale as more time and effort will be invested into it.

Triumvir is starting to preview a couple items which should be heading our way soon, possibly by month’s end. These “Legio Xiii World Tour” items list the military campaigns of the (LEGIOXIII), led by the TRIUMVIRS that end in the last great Civil War. Expect more information in the coming weeks, but at the very least you can expect: a slim fitting hoodie, a tee, a raglan (baseball shirt style) 3/4 sleeved shirt and a Triumvir x Estate LA fitted cap.

This is probably one of the coolest concepts we’ve seen from the streetwear scene as a whole in a while. DigitalGravel has teamed up with 10 different streetwear brands to produce a limited run of tees that will help raise money to build a clean water play pump in an impoverished African community. Basically kids get a merry-go-round type of toy to play with that pumps water out of a natural underground well while in-use, allowing them and their families to obtain clean drinking water. Only 60 of each of the limited edition t-shirts will be made available (starting today) with all proceeds going towards the purchase and assembly of the play pump. Contributing brands include: The Hundreds, Foreign Family, Stpl Design, Hoodman, Bombin’, Selector, GRTR THAN, Nonsense, 3sixteen and ABCNT.

We don’t normally post blog entries for warehouse sales, but this one just seemed mandatory. Supreme will be hosting a warehouse sale this upcoming Wednesday, January 7th 2009, in both New York and Los Angeles. Gear will be priced to sell at up to 80% off originally marked prices. If you are a Supreme fan, we hope you can find a way to be in either NY or LA that day. How often are you going to be able to pick up legit Supreme fits marked down that much? If you don’t make it to this sale, probably never.

SSUR has taken one of, if not the most, famous photographs of the late Notorious B.I.G. and hit it will a little SSUR flavor, three times over. The image was taken by Barron Claiborne, less than a week before the rapper’s death. Barron has been a long time friend and fan of SSUR, so the two came together to design a trio of tees accurately portraying the intended message the Barron wanted the portrait to represent. These shirts are being released just in time to nearly coincide with the Notorious movie which is due out in a couple of weeks. Only 350 shirts will be made available worldwide at SSURPLUS in New York City, select boutiques around the world and online at the SSUR e-store.
